Job description:
Experience the variety of rural nursing, work to your full scope of practice, and easily access big-city amenities less than an hour's drive from Edmonton! Grow your nursing practice as part of the Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatients department in the welcoming community of Tofield. Every day, you'll have the chance to use your critical thinking and problem-solving skills as you provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct patient-and family-centred care. You can quickly prioritize and respond to changes in patient status effectively with a professional, positive attitude. Your interpersonal and communication skills help you build strong relationships with your "work family" and patients alike, while your dedication to ongoing development shows in taking the initiative to sign up for courses and participate in continuous improvement activities.

What you need to bring to the role:

- Rural Acute Care & Emergency experience preferred. CTAS preferred. 
- CAM A, CAM B /ACLS preferred. 
- Pediatric Building Blocks/PALS preferred. 
- Trauma 101/TNCC preferred.
- Acute Care or Emerg. Needs to be willing to work both and learn. 
- Valid License Registration

Salary: $60 - $75 per hour
